CACI International Acquisition Program Manager in Stennis Space Center, Mississippi
What You’ll Get to Do:
You will manage a team of Acquisition Support and Contract Specialist Support professionals and oversees daily operations for acquisition, procurement, and contract closeout support. You will also monitor key performance metrics to ensure operational excellence; ensures contractual commitments are met or exceeded; and financial contract performance incentives have been earned every year available. Lastly, you will assess and manage employee performance to ensure individual and group excellence, and promote a continuous-improvement customer-first culture.
More About the Role:
Manages a team of procurement and acquisition specialists providing acquisition and contract closeout support;
Oversees daily operations for acquisition support;
Oversees a variety of tasks concerning issues, problems, opportunities, and challenges facing the acquisition process in a manner fully consistent with applicable statutes, regulations, and local policy and in furtherance of national policies as they relate to acquisition;
Manages a team that maintains configuration control of source selection guidance, training materials, and templates; and
Leads a team that assists in the preparation of contractual provisions and the administration of contract proposals; Proficient in preparing bids and negotiating specifications and contractual provisions.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related equivalent education, training, or experience combination; and
More than eight (8) years of experience in procurement, policy analysis, contracting, or related areas.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Prior experience as a supervisor of GS-1102's or Contracting Officers/Specialists in the U.S. Military, or prior experience managing a group of contractors providing acquisition support services within an U.S. Government contracting office.
